Hello Andrey,
I am an oboe student working on my doctorate degree at University
of Washington in Seattle. I listened to your new Concerto for Oboe,
and your Three Moods for woodwind quintet. I like them very much,
you are a gifted composer. I would be
very interested in looking at copies of the score and parts, could
you send copies?
I think I will have to practice a very long time for your oboe
concerto! It sounds difficult, but wonderful. Thank you for your
contribution to double reed music.

Dear Andrey!
Hello! My name is Przemek. I'm oboist from Poland, Warsaw, and I'm
a student of Frederic Chopin Academy of Music. I was listening to
recordings of Your excellent oboe concerto, and the wind quintet
about which you wrote on the DR-list, and I must say, that these
are one of the greatest recording I've heard for some time. Your
oboe concerto is really fantastic...conservative though very modern!
The quintet is also astonishing...the last movement with the quasi
Piazzola touch...
I'm interested in performing both of those pieces, and any other
piece You've composed (with the oboe part of course). Could you
send me the music of this fantastic pieces?
greetings and best regards!
Przemek Danowski

Dear Andrey,
I listen to your concerto two times already. Itґs a very good piece.
You are
not only a good composer, but an wonderful oboist as well. I am
very
impressed with the virtuosistic first mouvement and your beatiful
sound.

Dear Andrey,
We could only listen to little parts of your woodwind quintet on
the Doublereed list, but my husband and I both liked what we heard
very much. We both play oboe, and we each play in a quintet here
in the New York area. I would be very happy to buy a score and parts
to your piece. Please let me know how I can do this.

Dear Mr. Rubstov,
You are a great composer. Thank you for making your music available
to the world.
I would find it interesting to look over scores and parts to both
the oboe concerto and the Three Moods.
"Sankovich, Richard" <san**@umr.edu>
Thank you for posting your woodwind quintet composition Moods.
I enjoyed listening to it, and would like to have a copy of the
music
for our woodwind quintet to work on.

[about Quartet for flutes]
Andrey,
It's BEAUTIFUL!!
Ian Hulin <ian@***in.org.uk>
Hi Andrei,
I'm just listening to the flute quartet Mp3 you advertised via the
flute ensemble list. It sounds wonderful.
Vanessa Gunter <gunterv@***patico.ca>
Hi Andrey,
The Divertimento is a really nice piece!! I haven't listened to
the quartet
yet, but I definitely will. I am just curious as to how well the
string
parts translate into piano, with all of the slides that you're using
in the
music.....I really like some of the textures you have achieved.
Another
great addition to our repertoire!
Thanks so much for sharing with us!

I very much enjoyed listening to your Quartet for 4 flutes and
would
very much like to acquire the music to play.

Nice work!
This third movement indeed looks like a CHALLENGE for us non-professional
performers. Looks like you have covered the ranges of the instruments
very well-tonally and dynamically. <...> The entire movement
is very well polished. You have made your mark and it shines.

An astonishingly good piano piece
This piece is very very well written - my congratulations to the
composer in acieving an amazing effect . Has some elements of ravel
and maybe rachmaninoff in there , but all brought together with
the fireworks of a lisztian technique . The piece is also decidedly
modern as there are unexpected shifts between very romantic harmonious
and chordal passages with more abbrasive sections . A masterpiece
if i ever heard one !!!
